Nabs Allocations

What you can expect from NABS during the allocations process

A confidential committee of industry peers will promptly review your application, and provide you with options ranging from professional/career advice to short-term financial assistance if necessary. Our help is tailored to each applicant’s personal circumstances.

From your initial consultation with a member of nabs staff (NOT application date), you can expect a final decision on your case within 4-6 weeks.

We treat all information provided by applicants in strictest confidence in accordance with our privacy policy, a copy of which is available at NABS, 55 St. Clair Ave. W,  4th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4S 1Z5.

What NABS expects of you

We expect full transparency from you throughout this process, including providing any requested supporting documentation to your claims.  We also expect that you will seriously consider any professional advice offered, and may make that a condition of assistance.

What nabs CANNOT offer

We are not a replacement for government assistance, a source of retirement or long-term disability income. We do not cover back-debt, legal fees, child support, debts to payday loans companies or student loans.
Our resources are dependent on the generosity of our donors, and are allocated on a case-by- case basis by a confidential committee of industry peers.
