Barbara's story
6 years ago, Barbara Glover was diagnosed with Keratoconus—a rare degenerative eye disorder that causes structural changes to the cornea, resulting in the obstruction of vision. NABS in association with the Paul Mulvihill Foundation was able to provide Barbara with the additional funding she needed for a surgical procedure not covered by OHIP. Without the surgery, Barbara would have required a corneal transplant to save her eyesight. Barbara is recovering well from her surgery and looks forward to continued personal and professional growth.
